TOOLS

A4NH researchers develop tools based on our research to help meet development objectives of our partners and stakeholders. In some instances, those tools are developed based on gaps identified through research, and in other cases tools are requested by organizations and partners trying to track and measure progress in research, policy action, and other work.
Recent examples of these tools in development and action include:

• Transform Nutrition West Africa short courses
• the project-level Women's Empowerment in Agriculture Index (pro-WEAI)
• supporting the development of a food safety index in Africa
• a compendium of indicators on food systems for healthier diets
• building capacity and understanding around measuring the food environment
• the development of a Biofortification Priority Index
• the creation of a tools map on implementation of nutrition actions
