Pathways to Progress: The Story of Agriculture for Nutrition and Health and What Comes Next

PATHWAYS TO PROGRESS: THE STORY OF AGRICULTURE FOR NUTRITION AND HEALTH AND WHAT COMES NEXT

by A4NH | November 4, 2021

What can agriculture do for nutrition?

In 2012, a group of funders and implementing partners asked themselves this question. In response, CGIAR launched the Research Program on Agriculture for Nutrition and Health (A4NH), an integrative research program working at the intersection of these three critical sectors. Over time, this portfolio evolved to consider some of the most pressing challenges facing global development today: food systems transformation, One Health, equity and women's empowerment, and more.

The A4NH program will close at the end of 2021. On November 18, A4NH and the Agriculture, Nutrition, and Health (ANH) Academy gathered stakeholders from across the program's portfolio to consider the research A4NH has conducted over its 10-year history, discuss what has been learned, and identify how this work can be built upon moving forward.
