As stakeholders seek to promote diets that are both healthy and environmentally sustainable in terms of production and consumption, the authors have developed the World Index for Sustainability and Health (WISH) to evaluate diet quality and environmental sustainability in one scoring system. Based on the EAT-Lancet recommendations, thirteen food groups are scored based on their association with disease and impact on environmental indicators.
