While at the 20th International Congress of Nutrition in Granada, Spain last month, A4NH researchers from Lead Center, IFPRI, joined together with fellow authors to launch a new book, The Road to Good Nutrition: A Global Perspective. The book is a collaborative effort that brought together global experts to examine issues such as stunting, food insecurity, and hidden hunger, all of which threaten the nutritional status of the world’s population.

Among the book’s contributors were three IFPRI researchers: Marie Ruel, John Hoddinott, and Stuart Gillespie, who provided chapters on the ideal window of time for nutrition interventions, economic impacts of undernutrition, and the role of strong governance.

Other notable contributors include former IFPRI Director General and current Director of the Center for Development Research (ZEF), Joachim von Braun, and Tom Arnold, former CEO of Concern Worldwide and current Chairman of the Convention on the Irish Constitution.
