PAPER: THE IMPACT OF WATER-RELATED POLLUTION ON FOOD SYSTEMS IN TRANSITION: THE CASE OF NORTHERN VIETNAM

Agricultural practices can have impacts on the landscape as well as on food safety and availability. For example, pesticide runoff can contaminate water sources used for drinking or crop irrigation. However, gaps in information exist about the impacts of these practices on food consumption and health. In this study, the authors consider potential water related-exposure to toxic hazards in food systems in Northern Vietnam.
