On June 21, 2018, A4NH Director John McDermott and others representing the program and CGIAR participated in a planning and evaluation meeting with officials from the Netherlands. The meeting comes two and a half years into the CGIAR-Netherlands Strategic Partnership.
The Netherlands supports the entire A4NH program, and has interest in all areas of the research portfolio. One area of particular Dutch investment and partnership is in the Food Systems for Healthier Diets research flagship, led by Wageningen University and Research, an A4NH Managing Partner, that also engages other Dutch academic, civil society, and private sector partners.
