‘BRIDGING DISCOVERY AND DELIVERY’

by kkeeton | April 1, 2014

Bridging discovery and delivery.

This is the theme for the Micronutrient Forum 2014, which will be held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 2-6 June, 2014. The forum will bring together experts in nutrition, health, agriculture, social protection, food security and the private sector to translate the best new micronutrient research and program practices into on-the-ground action to solve micronutrient malnutrition.

Several A4NH researchers from Flagship 2 (Biofortification) and Flagship 4 (Integrated Programs and Policies) will present at the forum, as participants address the following questions:

  • How do we measure and interpret data on micronutrient intake, status and program coverage?
  • How well are micronutrient interventions working?
  • How are we bridging the gaps between evidence and implementation?
  • How do we engage and retain stakeholders to build an enabling environment to take on hidden hunger?

Registration for the forum is still open. Complete details can be found on the forum website, here.
