Cross-posted from the Bioversity International website. Around 350 participants gathered in Stuttgart, Germany, last week for the 2nd International Congress Hidden Hunger organized by the University of Hohenheim.
This week, Bioversity International announced the release of a free, open-access version of Diversifying Food and Diets: Using Agricultural Biodiversity to Improve Nutrition and Health, an Earthscan book from Routledge Press, out of their Nutrition and Marketing Diversity Program and edited by Jessica Fanzo, Danny Hunter, Teresa Borelli and Federico Mattei.
On August 8, 2012, Bioversity International and FAO released a new publication that presents the current state of thought on sustainable diets and biodiversity.
