Call for Abstracts Now Open: ANH Academy Week 2020

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS NOW OPEN: ANH ACADEMY WEEK 2020

A4NH and its partners in the Agriculture, Nutrition, and Health (ANH) Academy are pleased to announce the call for abstracts for ANH Academy Week 2020, to be held June 29 to July 3 in Malawi, is now open.

ANH Academy is a global research network in agriculture and food systems for improved nutrition and health to serve as a platform for learning and sharing. It is jointly founded and coordinated by the Innovative Methods and Metrics for Agriculture and Nutrition Actions (IMMANA) program, A4NH, and the London Centre on Integrative Research in Agriculture and Health (LCIRAH).

The fifth annual conference will feature sessions on the following topics:

  • Global food system governance and political economy;
  • Macro policy pathways and impacts;
  • Diets and nutrition in conflict, protracted and/or humanitarian contexts;
  • Learning from failure and success: implementation science and program impacts;
  • Economic evaluation and financing of multi-sectoral programs;
  • Behavioral research related to diets, nutrition, and health;
  • Innovative methods, tools, and metrics;
  • Agricultural technologies, IT, and big data: impacts for nutrition and health;
  • Health risks and impacts in agriculture and food systems; and
  • Environmental effects, sustainability, and planetary health.
