NUTRITION IN EAST AFRICA: 3 COUNTRY REPORTS RELEASED

Photo: Neil Palmer/CIATThrough a collaboration between the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and IFPRI, A4NH is excited to release three new publications from the findings of a joint study, Leveraging Agriculture for Nutrition in East Africa (LANEA).

The research took place in 2014 in three countries: Ethiopia, Uganda and Kenya,and included a broad range of stakeholder interviews and in-country consultations. The purpose was to investigate opportunities and challenges for scaling up nutrition through the food and agriculture sector.

The LANEA publications are also available on the FAO website, including summary reports for all three countries as well as a LANEA Study Brief containing summarized findings across countries.
