Input Needed to Inform Future A4NH Collaboration and Research in Africa

INPUT NEEDED TO INFORM FUTURE A4NH COLLABORATION AND RESEARCH IN AFRICA

by kkeeton | December 23, 2013

A4NH has enlisted the support of the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences to conduct surveys to help inform our research and partnership approach in Africa. The surveys aim to identify key potential collaborators and their perspectives on agriculture, nutrition and health research linkages in Africa.

Who?

This survey is meant for individuals and organizations interested and/or involved in agriculture, nutrition and health research in Africa. A select group of survey respondents may be invited to share additional perspectives to help A4NH understand the current landscape in nutrition and health-related agricultural research in Africa, including potential opportunities as well as constraints experienced by African researchers.

What?

The survey profiles relevant researchers and organizations in Africa, with a special focus on the synergies between agriculture, nutrition and health, thus building an inventory of potential A4NH collaborations for the future.

Why?

The results of the survey will be shared with the A4NH management team to help inform a strategy for partnerships and activities in Africa. Survey results will also be used to identify key partners for A4NH in Africa. Based on the survey results, some participants will be contacted for potential collaboration opportunities.
